Join us for a special hike at Oest Ranch Lake Clementine. Our docents will give you some history and show you the sites of this historic ranch owned by 4th generation rancher Daryl Oest. This hike takes place in North Auburn and begins at 9:00am. It will be approximately 3-5 miles long and take 3+ hours to complete.
Difficulty: Rated as moderate to strenuous with uphill and downhill hiking, uneven ground and rough terrain.
This is a wilderness outing in a natural setting: there are no restrooms, benches, or water available. Please plan ahead and bring what you will need. We suggest you wear sturdy shoes, wear clothing appropriate for the weather conditions, and bring plenty of water. Bring a sack lunch or snacks to enjoy along the way and your camera! You may also want sunscreen. We have a “leave no trace” policy – if you pack it in, please pack it out.
Sorry, no dogs are allowed on our Preserves.
Participants must sign a release of liability which will be emailed to you. Please bring it with you.
We encourage you to become a member by making a $10 minimum donation. Your donation helps expand our trail system and keeps you informed of our other upcoming events.
Directions will be emailed after registration. The deadline to sign up is Noon the Friday prior to the event.
