Treasured Landscapes Tours

Placer Land Trust has hosted the annual Treasured Landscapes Tour Series since 2007.  In the past, tours have highlighted unique aspects on several Placer Land Trust properties.  This year, the tour series will be held on the beautiful, 2,300 acre Bruin Ranch.  Each half-day tour will provide unparalleled access to a unique natural landscape that Placer Land Trust is working to preserve.

2010 Tour Series - Discover Bruin Ranch!

Bruin Ranch is at the heart of the last contiguous swath of blue oak woodlands in Placer County.  With the Bear River running through it, this foothills property is part of both east/west and north/south migration corridors for deer, migratory birds, and other wildlife.  Bruin Ranch is home to many Placer County cultural heritage sites and continually supports the local economy as a working cattle ranch.
