Join Placer Land Trust in honoring Mark Fowler with the prestigious Placer Conservator Award! The celebration takes place on Thursday, October 22, from 6-9pm at the Blue Goose Event Center in Loomis.
Placer Land Trust presents the Placer Conservator Award each year to an individual or group that enhances the quality of life in Placer County through resource conservation. We’re excited to honor Mark this year for his years of service as an award-winner teacher at Lincoln High School, who was instrumental in the development of their School Farm Program. He continues to impact youth today by leading outdoor education programs, and also makes our community a better place by serving on numerous non-profit boards and public commissions.
In addition to Mark, Placer Land Trust will also be honoring a few other well-deserving volunteers for their service to our community.
The event includes amazing food from celebrated local chef, Laura Kenny, and promises an entertaining evening led by David Sobon Auctions, not to mention social time with 200 other Placer County land-lovers!
All proceeds benefit Placer Land Trust’s work of protecting natural & agricultural lands in Placer County!
