Canyon View Restoration Day 11/15!
11/3/2009
Canyon View Restoration Day!
Sunday November 15th 9am - 2pm
Please come and join us for a day of restoration at our Canyon View Preserve in Auburn. We will be removing invasive blackberry and broom, spreading native grass seed as well as caging oak seedlings. All efforts are part of PLT's greater vision of a future Canyon View.
If you are planning on attending please RSVP to Kristin Haider at
Kristin@placerlandtrust.org
. Also bring long pants, closed toed shoes, water and a snack or lunch if you want. PLT will provide extra water and a tasty treat from Kristin (maybe brownies?!). Currently we are also short on tools for the work day so if anyone has tools they would be willing to bring it would be greatly apprectiated. Tools we are looking for are: Loppers, rakes, pick axes, pulaskis and gloves. If you can bring any of these please let Kristin know when you RSVP.
After you RSVP we will send you a map with directions.
Thanks and we hope to see you out there!
