This special class features Yoga Instructor Trula Daughterty, who works for Vail Resorts in Colorado and is visiting us for a week as part of Vail Resort’s Epic Volunteers Program.
Trula is a certified Yoga Instructor who has also earned her yoga teacher training certificate, specialized in Anjali Restorative Yoga, and is a long-time yoga practitioner.
Join us for our very first “yoga in nature” event for the avid yoga enthusiast or first timers! There is a short walk to the majestic slightly shady grassy area on the Preserve where we will be having the yoga class. There may be an optional hike after the yoga class, if there is interest.
This is a wilderness outing in a natural setting: there are no restrooms, benches, or water available. Please plan ahead and bring what you will need. We suggest you wear sturdy shoes to hike to the yoga area, wear clothing appropriate for the weather conditions and for yoga, bring a yoga mat if you have it, and bring plenty of water. Bring a sack lunch or snacks to enjoy after yoga or hike! You may also want sunscreen.
Sorry, no dogs are allowed on our Preserves.
Difficulty: this first ever yoga on the Preserve tour will be gentle yoga for all ages and skill levels. Hiking to the location is easy to moderate due to uneven ground and rough terrain.
Participants must sign a release of liability which is available below. Please bring it with you.
The event begins at 8:30am and yoga will take place at 9am – 10:30am at Taylor Ranch Preserve. Directions will be emailed after registration. The deadline to sign up is Noon the Friday prior to the event.
If you have any questions, please contact Janet at 530-887-9222.
Sorry this event is closed.
