We’re going to start the morning with a short one mile warm up hike at 9:00am led by one of our docents, and then move to an hour of Yoga under the trees. Beginners are welcome. No experience is necessary. For those who want to stay a little longer and enjoy the beauty of the preserve, we will end with a picnic lunch down by the creek.
Hike Difficulty: This will be an easy outing with approximately one mile of hiking/walking involved. There will be some uphill and downhill on uneven ground and rough terrain. Some of the walking may be off trail in cow pastureland and may have cow patties and hoof print holes.
For the Yoga: In the beautiful serene Taylor Ranch setting, near Raccoon Creek in the shade of the oaks, we will gather for a light-hearted & nurturing gentle yoga class.
Please bring a yoga mat and firm blanket to sit on. Wear clothes that are comfortable to move in, you may want to bring a lightweight fleece or sweatshirt so you stay warm.
