This special class features Reiki Master Trula Daugherty, who works for Vail Resorts in Colorado and is visiting us for a week as part of Vail Resort’s Epic Volunteers Program.
Trula is a Master-level Reiki practitioner and teacher who has been offering Usui and Karuna Reiki for more than a decade. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation.
Join us for our very first Reiki in the Woods and guided meditation tour. This is meant for anyone interested in enjoying meditation in the pristine wilderness. For those interested in learning about the practice of Reiki, we will provide you with an introduction to it as well. Guided meditation and Reiki is geared towards the enthusiast, or first timers! There is a short walk to the majestic slightly shady grassy area on the Preserve where we will be having the class.
This is a wilderness outing in a natural setting: there are no restrooms, benches, or water available. Please plan ahead and bring what you will need. We suggest you wear sturdy shoes to hike to the meditation area, wear clothing appropriate for the weather conditions and for meditation, bring something to sit on, like a blanket, if you have it, and bring plenty of water. Bring a sack lunch or snacks to enjoy after the meditation! You may also want sunscreen.
Sorry, no dogs are allowed on our Preserves.
Difficulty: this first ever guided Meditation and Reiki tour on the Preserve will be for all ages and skill levels. Hiking to the location is easy to moderate do to uneven ground and rough terrain.
Participants must sign a release of liability which will be emailed to you. Please bring it with you.
