LABADIE FARM, NEWCASTLE

30 ACRES OF FARMLAND PRESERVED FOREVER

The Placer Land Trust worked with a Newcastle landowner to put an agricultural easement on their 30-acre farm off of Hwy 193. This farm is now protected from development encroaching from the west, and will remain in agricultural production forever.

The Labadie family grows a variety of products on the farm (including vegetables, fruits, and flowers), rotating crops from year to year. More information about the Labadie Farm site will be posted on this website in the near future.
