CELEBRATING THE ROLE
OF AGRICULTURE IN PLACER COUNTY

PLT hosts the Placer Harvest Celebration each fall to raise funds to work with willing landowners to preserve natural areas and family farms and ranches in Placer County. Participants enjoy a gourmet dinner featuring locally produced foods and wines, and can bid on dozens of items at a silent auction.

The 2007 event returned to the Blue Goose Fruit Packing Shed on Saturday, Nov. 3. The Djunkyard Gypsies provided live music, local chef Randy Kliewer prepared a delicious meal using PlacerGROWN products, and we had local wine, cider and beer on hand. The charity auction featured over 75 wonderful items from across Placer County and beyond. Kudos to event coordinators Rich Ferreira and Katy Sater for an excellent event!
