COLUMBIA WETLANDS PRESERVE, NEWCASTLE
11 ACRES OF WETLANDS AND STREAM HABITAT PRESERVED FOREVER
The Placer Land Trust worked with a Newcastle landowner to put a conservation easement on 11 acres of wetlands and stream habitat near their farm in Newcastle. The protection of this wonderful area guarantees permanent habitat for migratory birds and other wildlife.
