April 10, 2008: 2nd Annual
Disappearing Landscapes Art Event & Sale
Free to the public art exhibit and sale benefitting local artists and Placer Land Trust, to be held at Latitudes Restaurant in Auburn in conjunction with the 2008 Auburn Art Walk.

April 12, 2008, early: Annual Codfish Falls Wildflower Walk
Free to the public walk along the American River and lands preserved by PLT from Ponderosa Bridge to Codfish Falls, with naturalists John Krogsrud and Ernie Riley. Call (530) 887-9222 for details.

April 26, 2008, early: Vernal Pool Preserves Tour
The first in the series of "Treasured Landscapes" tours of PLT-protected properties, with naturalists Ed Pandolfino and Carol Witham. Featuring an "early bird" birdwatching walk, brunch along Doty Ravine, followed by a tour of Swainson's Grassland Preserve. $10 requested to cover lunch and coordination costs. May 10, 2008, early: Big Hill Oak Woodlands Preserves Tour
Second in the series of "Treasured Landscapes" tours of PLT-protected properties, with naturalists Brian Williams and Joe Medeiros. Featuring an "early bird" birdwatching walk, brunch, and a walking tour. $10 requested to cover lunch and coordination costs. Call (530) 887-9222 for details.

May 24, 2008, early: Bear River Walking Tour
Last in the spring series of "Treasured Landscapes" tours of PLT-protected properties, with local naturalists and PLT staff.
