DISAPPEARING LANDSCAPES
ART EXHIBIT & SALE

APRIL-MAY 2008

The Disappearing Landscapes Art Exhibit & Sale helps raise money for Placer Land Trust's continuing efforts to preserve natural and agricultural lands.

The 2008 exhibit will run for six weeks this spring, starting on April 10, at Latitudes Restaurant in Auburn, in conjunction with the Auburn Art Walk. This year's show features artwork from approximately 35 of Placer County's best artists. The majority of the artwork depicted the disappearing landscapes of Placer County, and most artists were inspired to depict lands preserved by Placer Land Trust for the show.

Admission to the art show is free to the public. Proceeds from artwork sales benefit Placer Land Trust, the artist, and the gallery. Not only does an event of this type generate financial support for the arts and land conservation, but it also celebrates the artistic and natural resources that help define and enrich local communities. Please come check it out!
